Caesarea

Embark on an expedition that takes you deeper into the folds of history. The day begins with an exploration of Caesarea. What was once famous as a Roman port now serves as a bustling archaeological park and commercial center. Culture and commerce collide in this ancient city. You’ll see the ruins, reminiscent of past empires, up close, while also experiencing the incredible Roman/Byzantine aqueducts, grand amphitheater, and the amazing water palace built by Herod the Great. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. While here, tourists are in for a visual treat.

Caesarea Aqueduct Beach

Take a cool breather in the beautiful turquoise Mediterranean Sea on a beach that boasts three ancient Roman and Byzantine aqueducts that supplied the port of Caesarea with fresh water 2000 years ago! Marvel at the soft white sand, the modern surroundings, and the ancient technologies.

Alligator Stream National Park (Nahal Taninim)

Take a stroll where the alligators once roamed freely. This small park includes a unique addition to your visit to Caesarea. Here, innovative technology was used by the Romans to ensure fresh water could be sent to the port city, even though there was no height gradient. Watch with excitement as you see the technology working live!

Zichron Ya’akov

Experience the local allure of a town adorned in history and architecture. Zichron Ya’akov is remembered as one of the early settlements for Jews migrating to Israel in the late 19th century. Aligned with the community’s ever-thriving love for great drinks, it is home to some of the oldest wineries across the globe. The area is humble in design and offers a refreshing contrast to other sites on this tour. The streets branch out from wide to narrow, allowing you to stroll and explore at your own pace, immersed in an environment that redefines peace.

Bat Shlomo

Swing by one of the early Jewish settlements in the Carmel/Menashe region. Experience wine tasting, historical visits to old homes, gourmet goat cheese, and more. Learn about the history of this quaint village from members of the original families. Truly an eye-opener in the beautiful hilly green setting.

Haifa

Immerse yourself in the stunning Bahai Gardens that flow from the top of the Carmel Mountain Range down to the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the many interesting museums that are all family-friendly. Don’t forget to learn more about the Achmedian Muslims, who came from Jaipur, India. Visit the Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris and take a quick hike down to Elijah the Prophet.
