The Jezreel Valley

Israel’s agricultural hub, the Jezreel Valley, is the breadbasket of the country. Also known as Marj Ibn Amir, this place is characterized by fertile land and an inland valley adorned by scenic hills. The view is framed by the Galilee Mountain range and also overlooks Samaria. Traversing through this lush and breathtaking area offers a much-needed break from the loudness of everyday city life. The place is naturally beautiful and the perfect getaway spot for recharging away from cosmopolitan concerns.

The Valley of Battles – A Reminder of Biblical History
While the Jezreel Valley has long been touted for its trade routes and economic value in Israel, it’s just as rich in historical events. As the spot ordained for prophecies to unfold, the Jezreel Valley is mentioned numerous times throughout the Bible. It’s also where believers recall some of the most monumental battles. This history collides and fuses with the archaeological serenity prevalent throughout the region. Sites like Tel Megiddo are seen as essential locations for the impending Armageddon. Whether you’re a believer holding strongly to this religious narrative, or simply someone who admires culture, an exploration of the ancient ruins is a deep dive that leaves you thoroughly amused and enriched.
