Stunning Views. Immersive Markets. Amazing Food.

A trip to Haifa and Acre is a soulful experience. Although known for their scenic beauty and excellent location, there’s a lot more to these cities besides their setting on Mount Carmel’s slope. The cities are home to people from different faiths and backgrounds, opening up great opportunities for travelers to indulge in the vibrant cultures and traditions of all communities. There’s much to admire—from 19th-century architecture in the German Colony hosting restaurants, galleries, and museums to heritage sites with stunning surrounding gardens.

Get a Dose of the Area’s Religious Spirit

Nestled in the heart of Haifa are the Bahá’í Gardens, a place of pilgrimage where masses gather to strengthen their spiritual selves. This site overlooks the clear sea, creating a canvas shot that looks straight out of a movie. There’s also the Stella Maris Monastery, another important religious spot retelling meaningful historical narratives of the past. You can also visit the Ahmadian Islamic Center.

Flip a Page Out of the History Book – Experience Acre’s Old City

Officially a World Heritage site, Acre features classic alleyways and ancient buildings gilded in stone. Its rich history proudly protrudes in every nook and cranny, and today, the Old City represents the area’s thriving commerce scene. When in Acre, you’ll also find yourself admiring the Templar Tunnel and Al-Jazzar Mosque among other historical sites.
Come and experience a city under a city! This tour will take you back in time to the days of the Crusaders who made this a major port city. Yet, all that can be seen above ground is Ottoman. Wander through the ancient Shuk (market), the Crusader Halls and enjoy some of the best seafood Israel has to offer. Take a boat ride at sunset and see the true beauty this town has to offer.
